The volcanic activity in iceland would also effect the environment of iceland , when the volcano erupts the glaciers would melt which this activity is called " glacier outburst" when the glaciers melt they would melt and cause an a sudden large amount of water would be released and cause floods, this is also a benefit because 93.5 % of iceland energy comes from hydroelectric sources.

The volcano eruption effected people living in iceland a lot because houses were destroyed because of the hot lava , killed many people because of the carbon dioxide that was released in the air (people couldn't breathe properly ) ,something nearly Around 80% of sheep, 50% of cattle and 50% of horses died due to dental and the skeletal fluorosis because of the hydrogen fluoride that were released scientist have been saying it is now 8 tons of hydrogen fluoride released. but the main problem was the death of people and being evacuated also the climate change had a really big effect on physical environment and on human environment.
" ashes have been falling on my horses , i don't have any place to keep them safe"
on the other hand iceland is not a old land masses on earth iceland is one of the newest land masses on the planet , where most of iceland emerged nearly around 25 - 29 thousand years ago. more over the age of icelandic landmasses are from couple of million years ago to having emerged just a few decades ago also the iceland is located in the mid atlantic ridge and But Iceland is unique because it located between two tectonic plates, iceland is the only place in the planet where the mid-Atlantic rift is visible above the surface of the ocean. , this shows us that this contributes to its unique landscape and wildlife.
some of the human environmental of iceland that creates a unique landscapes are
Harnessing geothermal power
Building roads.
Building houses.
Cutting down trees.
Planting crops
NOT Polluting the atmosphere with carbon dioxide
Learning how to survive in a harsh climate.
NOT Throwing litter
Establishing a landfill
Building a dam or a bridge across a river.

where is iceland located?

Iceland, is one of the largest island in the Europe, is located south of the Arctic Circle, it is betwwen the north atlantic ocean and the greenland sea . It is situated east of Greenland and northwest of the UK moreover the Iceland is known as Europe and not north America
The Iceland's geographical location is over the Mid-Atlantic Ridge,And mantle plumes are under the iceland which it would make it one of the most volcanically active regions of the World howevr It also has a large number of glaciers.
The geographical position of Iceland is a warmer country than the others in the same latitude. Although Iceland is located near the Arctic Circle, the winters here are not that harsh and severe. The presence of the North Atlantic current lowers the intensity of the cold winter winds.
